At Initiatives we’re friendly, we’re happy, we’re well-fed.

We started out as The Garden Initiative, six years ago and shortened our name to Initiatives last year. The shorter name gave us more dynamism and the licence to explore other fundraising solutions beyond the realms of the garden.

Our original aim remains the same however; our goal is to help schools raise funds in an easy, profitable, risk-free and environmentally friendly way.

The Cookbook Initiative came to us thanks to you, our customers. We heard a few rumblings that schools were keen to promote healthy eating.

And then we realised that there was an opportunity to offer schools something to help with their healthy eating campaign. What better way to motivate children than by having them create their very own cookbook ?

We chucked the idea around for a while, spoke to schools about it and saw that it would be a really popular project.

Not only would it help educate children about cooking, it could also aid parents in the kitchen and raise money for schools and associations.

We let our IT whiz loose on the project and he has come up with this remarkably friendly website that handles the whole cookbook process expertly. Which should make your job all the more straightforward. Which is the aim after-all!
